Goal
Overview
A circular-economy demonstration that treats greywater and blackwater for reuse and converts waste into wealth — from eco-bricks and upcycled crafts to compost and biogas.
HEAL's closed-loop water and zero-waste model implements advanced greywater and blackwater treatment for reuse, alongside strict waste segregation, composting and recycling to approach zero-waste operations.
A plastic-upcycling incentive rewards responsible behaviour with credit points, while collected plastic is upcycled into handicrafts, reusable items and construction inputs such as eco-bricks — creating sustainable livelihoods for local artisans.
Any non-upcyclable residue is handed to authorised recyclers, keeping the loop closed and the landscape clean.
