Overview
The Prokriti o Projukti Uddokta Forum (PPUF), translated as the Nature and Technology Entrepreneur Forum, is a pioneering national initiative dedicated to establishing an integrated, environment-friendly entrepreneurship tradition in Bangladesh. Operating under HEAL, PPUF promotes a business philosophy where ecological health is a non-negotiable prerequisite for economic activity.
PPUF is founded on the planetary imperative — if the planet exists, humans will exist — and insists that ventures prioritise protection and regeneration of environment, ecology and biodiversity before any profit mechanism is finalised.
Its goal is to build a robust, climate-resilient and self-sustaining network of entrepreneurs who implement net-zero, environment-regenerative business models as the national standard for responsible growth.
Strategic pillars cover capacity building and knowledge transfer; ecological restoration and resilience; and mechanisation with net-zero technology (DC microgrids, circular zero-waste, waste-to-wealth).
Local units include Jamalpur (Sadullapur, Gaibandha), Laldighi Mela, Osmanpur and Projapara (Pirganj, Rangpur), Shingra (Ghoraghat, Dinajpur), Gaibandha Sadar, Kounglak Para (Baghaichhari, Rangamati) and Halda (Hathazari, Chattogram).
